  • University of Georgia (UGA) Position: Lecturer
    Position #: 2017_00321F Department: College of Engineering Description: The primary duty of the lecturer will be to teach up to 12 credit hours per semester. Successful applicants must be able to teach courses in chemical and biological engineering disciplines including mass transfer, heat transfer, chemical engineering thermodynamics, process design, process control, kinetics and reactor design, process safety, unit operations as well as be able to handle the corresponding laboratory courses. Position responsibilities include effective classroom teaching of undergraduate courses, laboratory supervision, mentoring undergraduate engineering students, and working with other faculty on innovative teaching methods within the college’s growing instructional programs. Effective communication skills are required. The university offers campus wide professional development programs to enhance the teaching skills of instructors.
