    Position: Assistant Professor
    Department: Chemical Engineering
    Brief Description: The Department of Chemical Engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a new faculty position at the Assistant Professor level, with an anticipated start date of Aug. 6, 2018. Qualified candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field, a B.S. Degree in Chemical Engineering, a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence, and an outstanding record of research accomplishments. Applications are accepted in all fields of Chemical Engineering; however priority will be given to applicants with a specialization in energy conversion, storage or transport. Research focused on renewable energy sources, solid state and electrochemical systems, heterogeneous catalysis and fuel chemistry is of particular interest but is not a requirement for the position.

    Position: Assistant Professor [#9962]
    Brief Descritption: The MIT Department of Chemical Engineering (https://cheme.mit.edu/) invites candidates for faculty positions starting July 2018 or thereafter. Appointment will be at the assistant or untenured associate professor level and will be located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In special cases, a senior faculty appointment may be possible. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or a related field by the start of their employment. Candidates with research and teaching interests in every area relevant to the field of chemical engineering will be considered, including candidates with areas of research in process systems engineering, biomedical engineering and advanced technologies for health, biomanufacturing, bioprocess, or applied synthetic biology, energy systems and sustainability. All strong candidates in chemical engineering fields are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate is expected to advise students, and develop and teach chemical engineering courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as to develop a sponsored research program and be involved in service to MIT and the profession.
